Mission Creek Bikeway Concept Plan Approved by the SF Board of Supervisors.
With the assistance of MTC, the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, Madrina Group
and the SF Bike Coalition recently completed a concept plan for the Mission
Creek Bikeway and Greenbelt. In June 2002, the Board of Supervisors voted to
approve this plan, and directed the San Francisco Transportation Authority
to move the project forward.

The Mission Creek Bikeway has won $30,000 to initiate the planning phase of the project. Much thanks to the Metropolitan Transportation Commission's award of $20,000 in funding from the Transportation for Livable Communities program, and a $10,000 match from the SF Department of Parking and Traffic. Their faith in this project will help us work toward success.
